## What it shows

- **1081**: source port locations
- **13.4 km**: median nearest-airport distance
- **829**: airports selected by the model

A nearby airport does not establish cargo handling, a usable road connection or operating port capacity. Use this model to identify locations for further investigation.

## Method

Same nearest-sphere model as the Airport Accessibility artifact. Every source port is evaluated against the eligible airport set; model matches and distances accompany the atlas.

The collection bundle includes `models/port-airport-proximity.json` with reusable derived results and stable source identifiers.
