20 Reference Datasets for Agents

Downloadable data for geography, historical identifiers, time, transport, language, economics and observations. Each artifact includes populated JSON or GeoJSON, field definitions, source versions and dates, reuse terms, and file digests.

Dataset Primary records Contents
World Time Zones and Aliases 597 Every named zone and alias in IANA tzdb, with country links and a dated UTC-offset snapshot.
Time Zone Transition History 23,021 Dated offset and daylight-saving transitions, plus recurring future rules, from the same IANA release.
Countries and Territories 249 Current country and territory names with ISO alpha-2, alpha-3 and numeric identifiers.

Scope and dates

These are versioned snapshots. An observation date, a source release date, and the date Arcomm retrieved a file are separate facts. Each artifact records the dates the source supplies and describes missing or uneven coverage. No automatic refresh is scheduled.

The time-zone registry includes all names and aliases in IANA 2026c. Historical country codes cover withdrawn identifiers, not every geopolitical change. Natural Earth map layers are generalized 1:10 million data, not exhaustive local maps. The earthquake snapshot uses the source’s rolling 30-day feed.

Use the collection

Open a dataset page and download its ZIP. Verify the SHA-256 shown on the page. Read the coverage and reuse terms, then use the populated JSON tables or GeoJSON map layers. Field dictionaries define identifiers, units and missing values. Metadata supplies record counts, primary keys, source hashes and what to compare when a new snapshot is published.

Population and GDP include source aggregate rows with explicit flags. Do not add those rows to their member countries. Language-use percentages can overlap. Country labels and boundary viewpoints retain source qualifications.

Verification

All 20 packages passed archive, hash, field and primary-key checks. Source reconciliation checks preserve every ISO record, every selected map geometry, every airport record, complete World Bank response totals and values, IANA identifiers, and the complete USGS feed. Public pages and downloaded file hashes are checked after publication.

The earlier code collection has been deleted. These artifacts contain data and documentation; no source-code packages are included.
